To implement correct installation use the following equipment: building level, plumb line, spatula, square, special tool for cutting ceramics, containers for mixing adhesive composition.

This finishing option is used for uncalibrated tiles; the installation process requires a minimum of time. The tiles are mounted in a horizontal direction, shifting each level by 1/2 the length of the element.
3. Diagonal layout.
To get a high-quality result using the diagonal method, it will take a lot of time and effort. Despite certain difficulties in the finishing process, it is worth paying attention to the advantages: visually the room becomes larger, the unevenness of the bathroom walls is masked.
Required condition: ceramics must be of high quality and have the same dimensions.
The first level is laid using tiles, which are cut diagonally. This action increases consumption facing material. To control the work, use a building level and a square.
4. Chess.
The layout involves the use of ceramics of different shades, which are mounted in a checkerboard pattern.
5. Modular installation option.
In this case, an interesting composition is obtained due to the laying of several types of tiles, which differ not only in color, the elements have various shapes and sizes. The result of the layout can be arbitrary placement of ceramics; monochrome finishes are sometimes complemented with bright accents.
