The sliding wardrobe is one of the most modern species furniture for home. It is not only spacious, but also compact, and also saves space in the apartment thanks to sliding doors. A sliding wardrobe with a pattern on the mirror in the hallway is very good combination style, comfort, practicality and convenience.

If you look at the dimensions of the proposed model (height - 2 m 59 cm, depth - 60 cm, and width 3 m 72 cm), we can conclude that it is suitable for arranging almost any hallway, moreover, it can accommodate not only outerwear, but also other household items.

This cabinet It has two doors, and glass with a pattern is used as doors. The presence of glass in the hallway is mandatory, since before leaving the house you need to make sure that your appearance is impeccable. The cabinet is also equipped with a swing door with a mirror surface, and it covers the beveled part. This design is quite convenient, because the beveled part provides additional storage space, while saving space. Both swing and sliding doors are manufactured Russian manufacturer Aristo, which indicates high quality and affordability.

Shelves and compartments are designed for convenient storage bags, gloves, caps, hats, umbrellas and shoe care products. There is a compartment with a hanger, which in this case is represented by a pipe rod. Upper shelves can be reserved for those things and items that are not in particular demand. There is a convenient compartment for a stepladder.

The model is complemented by an open part, which consists of a longitudinal chest of drawers, a mirror, and a hanger for outerwear. The hanger has several reliable hooks located at different heights, which is very convenient for storing things different sizes. In the full extension drawers with which the chest of drawers is equipped, there will be a place for various small things and accessories that should always be at hand. The mirror has a rectangular shape with cut corners, which gives it a special charm and grace.

Design is the first thing guests often pay attention to. This wenge-colored wardrobe, which is made of modern material Laminated chipboard has a stylish and modern design. It gives a special charm and status to the hallway, because it looks very rich and respectable. Sandblasted drawing of a mirror in discreet style very organically emphasizes the shape and style of the entire hallway.

An attic is a floor under the roof of a private house, inside of which the ceiling follows the slope of the roof. In each specific case, the geometry attic room unique. This depends on the angle of the roof, which varies from 15 to 80 degrees. The attic space is used as an office, living room, nursery for boys and girls, but most often there is a bedroom there.

As a rule, furnishing an attic is somewhat difficult. If the situation with beds and chests of drawers is more or less clear, then standard cabinet not at all suitable for placement under a pitched roof. Of course, you can install it, but after installation there will always be unused areas. But no one will refuse additional square meters.

A direct way to get the space you need is built-in wardrobes that fit into all corners of the attic and use every centimeter for business.

Modifications

A piece of furniture such as a wardrobe is necessary in any room. To place it within the attic, you can use either a huge attic or a small nook with a sloping ceiling and walls. Cabinets fit into a variety of non-standard zones (sloping, rounded, angled, in a niche). At the same time, they do not lose practicality and functionality.

Depending on the type of door, attic closets can be hinged or sliding.

Hinged models are built into different corners of a complex space with bevels, preserving the advantages of this type of door. Each specific attic has its own characteristics, which are taken into account during installation, after which the cabinets are deprived of inconvenient or unused centimeters. This door option is suitable for a spacious attic, decorated in loft, country or classic styles.

Built-in wardrobes are the most functional, they are more compact, their use saves a lot of money. usable space. Universal design allows you to use even corners that are unsuitable for ordinary furniture. An attic with small dimensions is often decorated in modern style, for example, minimalism. Wardrobes with sliding doors are appropriate in these styles.

Sometimes it is structurally impossible to use a retractable door due to the slope of the roof. Therefore, models of large cabinets combine different options doors: they use sections with hinged and sliding doors, as well as straight and beveled door models that repeat the geometry with a broken ceiling line configuration.

Location options

Conventionally, there are three main variations of attic cabinets:

  • Under the roof slope. Placement under the roof slope is the most in a simple way installing a closet in the attic. It does not require the manufacture of special beveled doors or the use of special fittings. Rectangular doors and guides used in conventional wardrobes are used. However, it utilizes free angled space inside the cabinet that would not be used when installing a conventional cabinet. Interesting solution: a low cabinet with a flat lid, which frees up space for various small items.

  • With one beveled side. The cabinet is placed under the roof, it rests on the slope and has one beveled side.

  • At the pediment wall. Attic cabinets are very convenient to arrange under the gable for more rational use attic space, and other furniture - a bed and a chest of drawers - along the sloping walls.

Peculiarities

Cabinets located on attic floor, are unique and have a number of advantages:

  • Space saving. For the most effective use Every centimeter of space is used, right up to the ceiling. The cabinet can be built into almost any shape that is under the roof. The contours of the walls and sloping ceiling are repeated, so “dead” zones and inaccessible places completely disappear.
  • Hiding interior imperfections. A closet in the attic is not only convenient and practical, it can hide all the irregularities that appear in a room with non-standard geometry.
  • Versatility. Furniture for storage in the attic space has a filling that allows you to use it to store the most various items.

Materials

For the production of furniture facades that decorate attic products, the following are used:

  • mirror;
  • glass;
  • tree;
  • combination of different materials.

Glass doors are very impressive and varied; they are matte, transparent, as well as colored, decorated with photo printing or sandblasting.

Filling

The contents of the cabinets under the roof are in no way inferior to the filling of standard furniture: shelves and hangers are used, which in this case can be pulled out. The fittings for these products are distinguished by a wide variety of elements: shelves, drawers, pantographs, baskets, holders and other fasteners. Drawers of any pullout system are used in low cabinets located at the bottom of a sloping wall.

Practical ideas

Cabinets for installation in the attic differ from standard furniture, so most often they are made independently or ordered from craftsmen.

Budget options

You can save money by using a standard cabinet, and make a beveled corner into a niche and use it to store things of different sizes. The corner niche can be closed with a homemade door or left open.

Another option is to completely abandon the doors and rear surface. It is enough to mount the frame, beautifully attach rods, shelves and other storage accessories to it - you will get an open-type dressing room.

The selection of an attic closet is complicated by the presence of walls with different heights and their slope. This does not allow for a closet required size close to the wall. It is not always possible to order a built-in wardrobe. You can do the following: purchase a ready-made low product with a height of 90 to 120 cm, and complete the upper part yourself. This one will cost much less and you will be able to use the entire wall area.

Full wall

A gable roof can be used in the attic interior by placing the closet along the gable. Both slopes will be involved here. A massive storage system can be used as a partition between rooms. Here the role of the interior door will be played by the cabinet door.

Under the slopes

Even the lowest and dead zones (from 60 cm in height) cannot be left idle, wasting much-needed space. It can be a convenient and almost invisible way of storage. Low built-in chests of drawers, as well as long shelving at the bottom of the sloping wall, can be used to store a wide variety of household items.

Under the slopes of the roof, occupied by windows, chests of drawers occupy a traditional place. The height of the products is up to the window sill. Options for using space at the bottom pitched roof May be dressing table or computer desk.

Mirrors

Unnecessary walls are visually dissolved with the help of mirror facades. If the room is narrow and long, you can place mirrored cabinets opposite each other along the walls.

Space optimization is a pressing problem for almost all apartment owners, and especially for those who have a small apartment. Great solution For compact storage wide variety of household items can become a corner wardrobe, which will become a real find for those who are constantly wondering where to hide things that clutter up their home, and how to use empty or cluttered corners in the house.

A wardrobe is a traditional interior element that has been used for storing things since ancient times. Its modern analogue is a sliding wardrobe with angular shape- This is, in fact, a multifunctional design that can accommodate a huge number of all kinds of things. And thanks to the mass of additional functional elements, it is possible to use the cabinet completely.

Among the advantages of this functional furniture Others can be noted:

  • ability even with minimal dimensions corner cabinet the compartment can accommodate a huge amount of clothes, shoes, small household appliances;
  • convenient access to any of the items placed in it;
  • the corner configuration is specially created for the most irrational places in the home - corners, which frees up additional space;
  • The interesting design of such a cabinet will help transform any interior and play up boring corners in an original way.

Of course, corner wardrobes have some disadvantages, which can be called their features. Let's look at them in more detail:

  • Almost all such furniture is made according to individual orders. But this process is not quick, and you will have to wait. If you have a standard apartment, then it is quite possible that you will be lucky enough to find ready-made corner cabinets for sale so that you can immediately buy what you need;
  • The sliding system of such compartments is the most vulnerable part of the structure. When installing short-lived profiles in them or the presence of an uneven building surface, there is a high probability of rapid breakdown of this element;
  • often, especially in wardrobe cabinets, installation of additional lighting inside the structure is required;
  • For normal functioning The cabinet, or rather its sliding system, requires systematic cleaning of the guides.

When choosing, pay attention to the reputation of the manufacturer of such furniture, the quality of the materials used in its manufacture, and fittings. The internal content of the structure should be practical and functional.

Varieties

Corner compartments are divided into built-in and cabinet. Characteristic feature modifications of the built-in type is the absence of its own walls and ceiling. Sliding furniture doors and guides are attached to the walls, floor and ceiling surfaces of the room. This type of structure is called stationary. Its advantage is its cost-effectiveness; its disadvantages include the impossibility of transferring.

Corner cabinets can be:

  • case;
  • modular;
  • built-in;
  • semi-built-in.

If you are installing a stationary wardrobe in a corner, remember that all surfaces to which the fastening will be made must be leveled, otherwise the structure will skew, which will complicate the operation of the sliding elements. There are also semi-built-in structures that have separate body elements, for example, a bottom or a roof. In semi-built-in models, the walls of the room most often act as side and rear walls. A common option is modifications with both side panels, while the bottom and upper part are missing.

Compartment-type cabinets are full-fledged furniture with their own walls, floor and ceiling. The main difference from traditional cabinets is sliding doors. The products are tall, they are usually installed up to the ceiling, and can be equipped with external additional elements - lighting, shelves and other decorative features. Typically this is separate standing wardrobe, which, if desired, can be rearranged, disassembled, and then installed in another suitable location.

The structure is assembled on site, since its large dimensions will not allow it to be brought into the door. Are you planning to do this yourself? The diagram that must be attached to the product will help you with this.

Manufacturing materials

Modern sliding wardrobes are made from practical and safe materials. Rattan, bamboo, wood, glass, MDF or chipboard are used. The design made from a combination of several materials looks especially impressive.

The durability of the product is determined by the quality of the moving mechanisms. Therefore, it is not advisable to save money when choosing components. Since the door will have to be used regularly, be sure to check the softness of the rollers. There should be no extraneous sounds when they move.

For the manufacture of guides, steel or aluminum is used. Aluminum track costs more because it is more durable. If you want the product to serve properly for as long as possible, do not consider cheap options with steel guides, even if you like their design.

Basic materials for internal elements Chipboard and aluminum wire, which is usually covered with a polymer film, are used. For convenience and ergonomics, they are used special mechanisms: pantograph elevator, lifts, rollers, wheels. Of course, all this increases the cost of the product.

Wooden

Facade decoration

Wide choice finishing materials makes it possible to find optimal solution designs for every taste at an affordable price. The wardrobe body is traditionally made of wood, chipboard or MDF. For finishing facades, tempered glass, mirror, glossy surfaces, plastic, and natural wood can be used.

Very often, when finishing facades and doors, MDF or chipboard panels are used, which are distinguished by high wear resistance, ease of processing and maintenance, plasticity when creating any shape, resistance to moisture, UV rays, reliability, durability, and stylish design.

A corner wardrobe in a living room, in addition to its functionality, needs to be stylish and presentable. Thanks to the wide color palette order possible designer cabinets, ideal for color scheme premises. To focus on this non-standard furniture, the closet can be made darker or brighter than the main background, ideas original design there are many. A white sliding wardrobe will fill the interior with freshness and solemnity. Looks especially beautiful white gloss in the bedrooms.

Premium Finish – natural wood- perfect for classic interiors, Provence or country style. Corner wardrobes with a mirror fit harmoniously into different interior solutions. A mirror will help you visually push your boundaries small room, will make it lighter and airier.

In front of everyone positive aspects mirror surfaces, do not forget that they will require more careful care. In terms of safety, modern mirrors are quite durable and reliable. But still, mirrored cabinets require careful handling. When you hit a mirror, it will not shatter into dangerous fragments, but will simply crack, since the surface is glued with a special protective film.

The presence of a corner wardrobe with photo printing will give any room unique style. Thanks to high quality When printed, any selected image will turn out realistic and will add a touch of novelty to the interior.

Shape and dimensions

There are several options for corner wardrobes, which differ in individual configuration. Modifications of the main types include:

  • triangular structures;
  • trapezoidal;
  • g-shaped;
  • corner coupes - “five-walled”.

L-shaped

Diagonal

Trapezoidal

Triangular

It also occurs non-standard option with a combination corner cabinet configuration that allows you to enhance the basic options to maximize the use of the entire corner. This design technique gives the furniture individuality and convenience. If you want something new, designers recommend a concave cabinet. The absence of sharp lines makes the product unusual and spectacular. appearance. The semicircular wardrobe looks interesting and stylish.

A triangular wardrobe with a corner section will fit perfectly into the hallway. Although its configuration does not provide for a large number of shelves, the rail placed inside will allow you to compactly hang a whole mountain of outerwear. As a rule, triangular structures are made without side walls and therefore the cabinet requires a minimum of installation space.

A characteristic feature of a trapezoidal coupe with a corner element is the side wall, which forms the line of an irregular trapezoid. Thanks to the installation additional elements you can organize the internal space as rationally as possible.

A popular modification of a corner wardrobe with dimensions for any room is L-shaped. Made from a combination of two straight cabinets joined together. This good idea For stylish design interior, creating a convenient storage system.

Most massive option compartment design - five-wall corner cabinets, characterized by the greatest functionality. From the outside, additional consoles and modules look very harmonious. If you have enough space to accommodate this option, cover the corner with a five-walled compartment.

As for the sizes, it is easiest to determine the height: standard compartments are made to fit the room under the ceiling or 1-2 cm lower. The remaining parameters are calculated taking into account the characteristics of the room where the item is planned to be installed. To make it clearer, let's consider minimum dimensions(specific drawings are provided by craftsmen who make custom cabinets):

  • for example, at diagonal cabinet with triangular design, minimum length of sides right angle– 120 cm. When this value is reduced, the internal volume will be very small, the shelves will be very narrow. To reduce the size of the product without compromising the internal volume, the cabinet is made with a beveled corner;
  • if there are walls of different lengths, for example, 1.2 m and 0.8 m, it is better to choose the option with a closed trapezoidal design. On the longer side, a partition is organized, its depth is 40-50 cm, a straight line is drawn from this element to the short wall;
  • for small lengths of adjacent walls, it is recommended to install an L-shaped structure;
  • Five-walled compartments easily fit into a small room with a wall length of 0.8 m or more. They can even be placed in a small corridor. However, in this case, you will cover too much space due to the large depth of the product, and the room will shrink even more;
  • In terms of depth, sliding wardrobes are produced in two versions: 45 and 60 cm; it is not advisable to make them less than 40 cm.

For compact rooms, the optimal solution is L-shaped structures with shelves. They are not so massive and do not take up much space. Want to visualize this? Draw a picture with all the cabinets you like on the room diagram. Next, it remains to calculate the free area obtained as a result.

Filling

A corner cabinet, like any similar furniture, is equipped with a certain arsenal of storage systems. Due to the configuration features, filling a corner wardrobe is complicated by inconvenient places; they also need to be used correctly and functionally. In diagonal versions there will be more such places, in products with an L-shaped configuration - fewer.

Filling planning should be carried out in stages. In trapezoidal and triangular models, where the corners are beveled, it is difficult to use narrow triangles. It is optimal to organize here the storage of small things on shelves or to arrange the storage of umbrellas, skis, and other similar items. In the corner of the closet there is usually a compartment for clothes on hangers; if the design does not have a partition in the middle, then instead of it a pole is used where the crossbars are attached. The remaining space is easy to use. The main thing is to decide on your ideas and the number of different things that need to be stored.

To do right choice a beautiful, functional piece of furniture requires a serious, responsible approach. First, decide on the place where the furniture will be located and its size. Pay close attention to the internal contents, quality of fittings and mechanisms. For such furniture to please with its design, it must be of high quality and beautiful. decorative finishing facade, an unusual configuration of the product is possible. For example, a design with a rounded outline.

Taking into account all the parameters and nuances, you will receive a beautiful, multifunctional, comfortable, durable product - corner furniture in the form of a wardrobe.

Sliding wardrobe with a beveled corner for the attic: types, dimensions, design

The slope of the attic ceiling and the low wall do not allow the use traditional furniture. Complex geometry attic space can be arranged using a wardrobe with beveled sides. Let's consider possible models, materials for construction, ideas for filling attic corners.

Features and Benefits

An ordinary cabinet installed in sloping ceilings and walls will not be able to fully utilize the room. The attic closet has non-standard shapes; Sloping doors or tilted back of the cabinet.

Unlike regular cabinets it has a lot of advantages:

  • The compartment façade saves space.
  • Thanks to its shape, it allows you to use the entire area up to the ceiling.
  • Following the contour of the wall, the cabinet rationally uses the sloping corner of the attic and uses “dead zones”.
  • Softens interior imperfections.
  • Makes it possible to simulate internal filling.

Design features of attic cabinets

An attic closet does not have a specific shape - it follows the contours of the space it occupies. There are many design options, they all depend on the location.

Consider popular places and shapes to help you choose the best position for your furniture:

Photo Description

Option 1. Sliding wardrobe under the attic slope

Top floor in houses with sloping roof has a large width.

If the room is not divided into rooms, then the closet is built along the entire wall.

The outer door rests on the slope of the roof and takes the appropriate shape.

The middle parts of the facade do not differ from the standards - they are rectangular.

Option 2. Sliding wardrobe in the attic slope

The functionality of the design does not differ from classic compartment versions.

The doors have the usual outlines.

The inner part forms a trapezoidal or triangular shape.

Option 3. Sliding wardrobe in both slopes of the attic

To make full use of a narrow attic, the closet is made from slope to slope.

The central part of the facade remains standard, the outer doors are modified.

All doors open towards the middle.

Option 4. Straight attic cabinet with modules

The optimal solution using modules allows you to install a purchased cabinet in the center of the wall.

The beveled corner is filled with modules:

  • cabinets,
  • bookcases,
  • chests of drawers,
  • shelves,
  • racks.

Sliding doors with bevel

There are two options for installing compartment doors:

  1. Fully beveled door ends acute angle. It is not possible to use a suspension system here. The door leaf is installed on the bottom rail, the second part of the mechanism is located in the middle.
  2. Half/partial chamfered top, has top rail and moving roller, mounts like a regular coupe.

Structure and types

Any cabinets can be used indoors under the roof. It all depends on your preferences and the characteristics of the attic. Let's consider optimal options allowing rational use of space, with minimal costs for furniture.

Photo Description

Sloped wardrobe with sliding doors

Must have at least 4 doors.

This is due to the opening system.

The outer door panels have a non-standard fastening and require support when open.

The shift runs along a full-fledged rail on which the middle standard sash is installed.

Accordion wardrobe

Indispensable for a narrow room.

The sashes, fastened with hinges, have small sizes, move along the lower guides.

Hinged wardrobes

They may have partially or completely beveled doors.

In some cases, combined models with a sliding system are used.

Materials

There are no restrictions on the choice of materials. All traditional materials are suitable for attic cabinets:

  • MDF and chipboard have affordable price and nice appearance.
  • The mirror opens up the perspective of the room and enhances the lighting. For facades, a particularly durable mirror with a protective film is made.
  • Matte, glossy, textured, patterned glass is suitable for stylish interiors.
  • Plastic is a practical option and requires minimal effort to maintain an aesthetic appearance.
  • Leather is exclusive, expensive, exquisite.
  • PVC film - a huge selection of colors and textures, budget prices.

Color solutions

The design of the furniture depends on the degree of illumination and the orientation of the windows. For example, the south side always gives more light.

Closet dark color, in a room with small windows facing north, will make the attic a gloomy attic. Here it is appropriate to use furniture facade pastel or bright colors.

IN bright room you can install a bright wardrobe, but at the same time equip the windows with thick Roman blinds or blinds. This will help balance the daylight with the colors of the furniture.

In interior design, according to the rules, three colors are used. Each can have the same number of shades. By following this recommendation, you will get a cozy, charming attic.

The choice of cabinet color is made taking into account the ceiling height, size/number of windows, daylight intake, wall decoration, quality of textiles and lighting.

Dimensions and installation

The variety of house designs makes it impossible to buy a ready-made, suitable-sized attic closet. The owner has two options: order from a master or make the furniture with his own hands. Let's consider the second option.

Measure the selected wall, make a drawing, calculate the materials. You will need parts for the body and base (laminated chipboard with a thickness of at least 19 mm), rear walls (3.2 mm).

Ceiling, wall, baseboards, plinth cladding, doors. You also need to buy fittings, screws, edge tape, glue.

Assembly

The frame is built on site, according to the existing dimensions. The main parts can be fixed to the walls of the room. In long bars, grooves are selected for the overlapping parts. All end cuts are covered with edge tape.

The front panel is installed on the plinth strictly vertically and fixed to load-bearing structure. The sections are assembled separately and attached to clamps through side walls. Corner strips are mounted in the form of a ceiling or side plinth. So that the screws are not visible, they are driven in from the inside.

Dimensions

The parameters of the cabinet depend entirely on the height of the ceiling in the ridge, the angle of the slope and the width of the room. The attic wardrobe can have a height starting from 60 cm.

The model with two beveled doors has at least 4 doors, so it cannot be made small. The minimum length is 160 cm, while the width door leaves- 40 cm. Cabinet with one bevel - from 120 cm.

Depth of wardrobes

Any models can be built in the attic. The bevel of the roof makes adjustments to the dimensions, but the widest part is not made less than 40 cm. The most convenient depth is 60 cm.

The cabinet, which rests against the bevel at the back, has an increase/expansion in the lower part; near the floor it can reach up to a meter. A depth of more than 70 cm is considered inconvenient; it is difficult to reach the back wall with your hand. Retractable baskets/drawers and sections on wheels help eliminate this problem.

How to choose

Paired with modular elements, you can buy a cabinet wardrobe. Its height and width must correspond to the installation location. Based on the angle of the roof slopes, the width dimensions will vary depending on the height. The higher the cabinet, the narrower it will be.

A bedroom is usually located on the attic floor, so the closet should have enough shelves and drawers for linen. The presence of mezzanines will allow you to store guest sets of pillows and blankets.

How to fill corners

In addition to sliding wardrobes with beveled doors, the corner space can be filled with built-in cabinets, equipped closed niches or make open shelves.

Often a low cabinet or chest of drawers 80–120 cm is purchased, and a shelving unit is added above it or shelves are made. This economical option allows you to use all the space.

Low corner areas under the attic windows are considered “dead”. If there is 60 cm or more under the window, build a frame there for compartment or hinged doors. In this closed corner You can hold any objects, including a vacuum cleaner and other equipment.

Ideas and models

Functionality attic floor Enhances built-in furniture. Let's look at a few interesting ideas and designs.

Interesting solutions in interior design

A wardrobe with beveled doors can be built under the stairs leading to the attic floor. If all doors have a bevel, then only a swing system is suitable.

It is not necessary to build a monolithic model under the roof slope. The wall can be divided into parts and visually enlarge the room. Place a desk or computer desk between the cabinets. You can set aside this space for a mirror with a dressing table.

Mirrored facades fill with light and “move apart” the walls. The mirror can cover all doors or just one. They work well combined options, where mirror inserts occupy half or a third of the facade.

A small room needs light furniture. A cabinet located along the entire pediment will not “eat up” the room, but will expand it.

Conclusion

An attic closet helps to utilize non-standard areas and make a complex room beautiful and functional.

If you want to express gratitude, add a clarification or objection, or ask the author something - add a comment or say thank you!

Attics are rooms with a non-standard configuration, in which the ceilings are sloping, sometimes even in bizarre combinations. It seemed like what to do with sliding wardrobes in rooms such as attic, because the design wardrobe implies right angles and horizontal lines.

Manufacturers of fittings for sliding wardrobes and furniture designers could not ignore this “broken” space and came up with both technical and design solutions for the construction of attic rooms with sliding wardrobes.

For example, the designer elegantly circumvented the shortcomings of the attic space by making a niche and a built-in straight wardrobe before the start of the bevel, and installed a single bed with a bedside table under the bevel. The space under the bevel is covered with panels covered with fabric V color design beds.

There are three main types of arrangement of the sliding wardrobe relative to the slopes of the attic space.

The sliding wardrobe is installed under the slope of the attic space

The easiest way to install a sliding wardrobe in the attic; details of installing such a sliding wardrobe are discussed in the article on making a built-in sliding wardrobe in the attic.

You can make the sliding wardrobe small in height and make the roof straight. You can install photo frames and decorative items on the roof of the wardrobe.

The inside of a wardrobe in the attic is usually organized as a built-in wardrobe.

You can make a simple and easy filling of a sliding wardrobe in the attic using Joker pipes.

The wardrobe rests on the attic slope

In this version, the sliding wardrobe rests on one side against the bevel; here, you can’t do without special fittings for making sliding doors with a bevel, as well as fittings for moving such sliding doors.

Or another interesting approach. The compartment door is beveled, but there remains a space under the attic bevel, which is built up with elements of cabinet furniture.

The wardrobe rests on two attic slopes

Here is the same solution as in the previous version, but done on both sides.

Rice. 10. The wardrobe rests on two attic slopes

Straight wardrobe in the attic, the space under the slope is filled with shelves, cabinets and other elements of cabinet furniture

What to do if it is not possible to buy such accessories? There is a way out in such a situation, and in most cases it is often realized. In such options, a rectangular sliding wardrobe is made, and the remaining space is built up with other cabinet furniture, shelves, or covered with chipboard panels. Let's look at a few examples of such solutions.

The photo below shows a three-door rectangular sliding wardrobe, which is adjoined on the right by a radius shelf and two rectangular shelves that fill the space under the bevel.

In some cases, the remaining space under the bevel is not filled with furniture elements, but is covered with chipboard panels.

The first photo shows a tall two-door sliding wardrobe, doors with photo printing; adjacent to the sliding wardrobe is a low four-door mirrored sliding wardrobe with a side bevel height. The space under the bevel is covered with a chipboard board; two horizontal shelves are attached to the board so that the space does not disappear completely.

The second photo shows a similar design option, the space above both wardrobes is covered with chipboard panels.

Sliding doors with a bevel for a wardrobe in the attic

Doors in the wardrobe in the attic may be partially beveled, one with a partial bevel, the other completely beveled, or even all compartment doors may be beveled.

In the first photo, the wardrobe in the attic has only one door with a partial bevel.

Rice. 15. Sloping door in a wardrobe

The second photo shows a wardrobe with one partially beveled compartment door and one completely beveled door.

The third photo shows a wardrobe with three completely beveled doors. Such a wardrobe allows you to use the space under the stairs, which usually remains unused as storage space.

Let's figure out what kind of fittings are offered for the manufacture of doors and their movement by manufacturers of fittings for sliding wardrobe doors. As an example, let's take solutions from Raumplus website http://www.raumplus.ru and Komandor website http://www.td-komandor.ru/.

Sliding wardrobe in the attic with Raumplus fittings

In order to make a wardrobe using Raumplus fittings availability is required horizontal surfaces, because a special guide is mounted at the ends of the shelves.

A roller moves inside the guide, which is attached to the compartment door with a bevel using a rod. By changing the length of the rod, the distance between the guide and the compartment door is adjusted. Two rods with rollers are installed on the fully beveled compartment door.

If a compartment door with a partial bevel has a horizontal part at the top, then one roller at the top, as in a regular rectangular compartment door, moves in the upper guide, and the second along the guide fixed on the shelf.

If the horizontal edge is more than half the entire width doors with bevel, then the 2 upper rollers are used.

The bevel angle is determined by the slope of the ceiling of the room and can be any. When assembling a compartment door with a bevel, a special hinge is used, which allows you to maintain the required angle and ensure sufficient rigidity of the connection at the junction of the upper edge of the frame and its verticals. The hinge, like a human joint, bends and extends at the angle we need.

Sliding wardrobe in the attic with Komandor fittings

Solutions for compartment doors to the attic from the manufacturer Komandor are similar in appearance to those from Raumplus. To move sloping compartment doors, an additional rail is also used, which is attached to the shelf and a guide with rollers, the guide is attached to the compartment door leaf. The leash on Komandor is basically the same as the special rod on Raumplus.

Commander system based on steel and aluminum systems, the same vertical and horizontal profiles are used. The slope is created by special adjustable corners, which, like the hinges of Raumplus, bend at the desired angle.

The lower rollers in the compartment doors remain unchanged, that is, they are the same as in the rectangular compartment doors.
