To make the scraper reliable, you need to drill 6 mm holes in two places and install bolts and nuts. Next, the cutting should be secured using a wooden plank so as to increase the angle of attachment.

On the eve of winter, I decided to make myself a manual snow scraper. Basic conditions: ease of use without the use of great physical effort and maximum cheapness in production. Since the scraper is necessary for clearing the snow from the sidewalk in front of the house, the area in front of the garage and the internal courtyard paths, I swept away the “Snow Scraper on Skids” immediately, because. it is more suitable for cleaning ice fields, but the runners will have to be dragged with great effort on asphalt and soil. Therefore, it was decided to make a snow scraper on wheels.
The question of what to make the scraper blade out of was resolved immediately; I had a piece of pipe with a diameter of 27 cm, I cut a sector out of it and after processing it turned out to be a finished blade. An old baby stroller was found to make a frame with a handle. I made the stops from old water pipes, made slots in them on one side for the wheel axle, and on the other side welded them to the blade of the scraper blade. From metal corners I made lugs for attaching the racks; they were also welded to the blade of the scraper blade. To facilitate the design for the racks, I did not 
use water pipes, I found thin-walled bronze pipes in my garage. Tried it in place, cut it to required size and drilled holes at the ends for M6 bolts. At the upper ends of the racks I drilled three more holes of the same diameter to be able to adjust the height of the handle. In order to avoid scratching concrete and asphalt pavements and curbs, a piece of conveyor belt was attached with self-tapping screws to the bottom of the scraper blade. After assembly, I painted it to give it a more or less decent look.
I do not provide drawings and specific dimensions and recommendations, because... everything was done “in the Russian way” - not a peephole and from scrap, which had long been asking for scrap metal and a landfill.

The first impression of working with it is excellent; cleaning snow is surprisingly easy and pleasant. The snow was indeed freshly fallen, not compacted. - First you need to make a back wall, for which you will need a piece of plywood 4-5 cm wide. This part should be in the form of an arc and have a height in the center of no more than 8 cm, and in the area of the sidewalls narrow to 5 cm. For further fastening of the handle, you need to Make a cut in the middle with a bevel of about 1 cm.
- Now you need to attach the rail to the profile of the back wall and mark the place for cutting off the excess. In this case, the cutting will fit tightly into the cut.

- Make a chute for discarding snow from stainless steel or water pipe with a diameter of 160 mm. Select the length of the gutter depending on the required distance for throwing snow masses - the longer the pipe, the further the snow will be thrown.
- Use a belt drive to transfer torque from the motor - if the auger stops during operation, the belt will simply slip without affecting the motor.
- Form a body from sheet iron. Side walls can be made of plywood for convenience.

- Attach a wooden handle to the bolt strip.
- Attach a plastic “tongue” to the bottom of the U-shaped profile with nails. By default, the plastic for the “tongue” should be in the form of a roll, and when snow gets on it, it should unwind.
To ensure that snow rolls off the roof onto the plastic without your help, it is enough to lift the filled shovel during the cleaning process.

- a long rope slightly thicker than a clothesline.
The procedure for making a “shovel”:
- Cut off the part with the neck from each canister, leaving +10 cm from the lid.
- Drill holes in the lids.
- Take the rope and cut a piece 15 m long. Bend it in half to determine the center.
- At a distance from the center, equal to length one roof slope, secure the first canister with two knots.
- Attach the next canister 0.5 m from it. The covers should “look” in one direction – towards the center of the rope.
- Having put the first four canisters on one end of the rope, move on to the second. Fasten the cut parts on it so that the covers are directed in the opposite direction.
When designing, change the dimensions specified in the instructions depending on the height of the building and the length of the slope. The device can be used alone if you attach a weight to one end of the rope that will pull it back.
