The law was adopted by the State Duma on December 22 and approved by the Federation Council on December 26. The document allows stores and households to accumulate waste without a license. During regional weeks and on trips to the regions, deputies will assess the situation with waste collection in their regions, and on April 3, the State Duma will hold a video conference call with 85 regions, where they will discuss what problems exist in each territory.
