If at least one of the burners is not turned off after a certain time or the heating level is not changed, the corresponding burner will automatically turn off.
A note regarding acrylamide
According to the latest results scientific research Intensive heat treatment of food products in order to obtain a golden brown crust is dangerous to human health due to the harmful effects of acrylamide. This especially applies to products that contain starch. Therefore, we recommend cooking food at the lowest possible temperature and not browning the food too much.
Cookware
Determine suitable cookware for cooking based on the bottom. The bottom should be thick and extremely even. Cookware coated with steel enamel, as well as cookware with an aluminum or copper bottom, can leave difficult or completely unremovable marks on the glass-ceramic panel, changing the original color of the panel.
Energy Saving
Install kitchen utensils on the burner only before turning on the last one.
If possible, always cover pots with a lid.
To benefit from residual heat, turn off the burners until the end of cooking.
The dimensions of the bottom of the pan and the burner should be the same.

Distinctive features any devices (like) produced by the Swedish company Electrolux are reliable during operation, perfect design and affordable cost. All this applies equally to such household appliances, like an Electrolux hob.
And a device such as the Electrolux combination hob combines both gas and electric burners. This option is in demand by those consumers whose areas of residence are experiencing interruptions in the supply of electricity and gas.
The burners may have different size, shape and quantity (from 2 to 5), including one or more burners that provide ultra-fast heating like .
2 Popular models, prices
Each version of the hob is good in its own way, but Electrolux glass-ceramic hobs are considered the “squeak of fashion” today. Elegant appearance, high functionality, ease of care, affordable price elevate these panels to the peak of popularity.
Popular models are represented by the following options:
- Electrolux EHH 16340 FK
- Electrolux EHF 6547 FOK
- Electrolux EGG 6343 NOW
- Electrolux EGT 6342 NOX
- Electrolux EGT 7353 YOK
- Electrolux EHF 16240 XK
- Electrolux EHG 6435 X
- Electrolux EHH 3920 BOK
- Electrolux EHI 6740 FOK, etc.
As for the price of an Electrolux hob, it varies between $250 and $1,100. But it will cost 30-40 USD.
2.1 Video about hobs
If you decide to buy an Electrolux hob, you should know that the size of the cookware matters when using gas and glass-ceramic hobs. In order for heating to be uniform and the cooked food to be of high quality, pots and pans must match the size of the heating zone. An example of this is the principle of operation.
Thus, you will have the opportunity to save energy, which will not be wasted, but will be directed exclusively to heating the bottom of the cookware.
If you choose an Electrolux independent induction hob, then you don’t have to worry about the safety of your household. An induction hob only heats the bottom of the pan, while the surface itself remains relatively cool.
The risk of getting burned here is completely eliminated, which is especially important for those families with small children.

I have been using the Electrolux REX electric hob, model KT6421XE, for about a year. In my almost white kitchen, a black glass-ceramic panel with a stainless steel-colored frame looks very stylish and advantageous. In addition, this frame protects against overflowing liquid, and the tabletop is always clean.
4 HiLight burners, three round, the lower left has three heating zones, and the upper right circle + oval. We chose it specifically with this extension, since we often use the duckling machine. Unfortunately, the power is not enough to use all 4 burners at the same time. And even three, if everyone is working at maximum, but this happens quite rarely, so I have time to cook and fry everything.
The control panel is touch sensitive and quite convenient. Commands are confirmed by beeps and information is shown on the display. The scale is from 0 to 14, but you can only cook at 12-14, the rest is for heating food.
Through trial and error, I finally adapted and became friends with our Rex. Overall, I’m happy with the panel and its functions, although I don’t do a lot of fancy cooking. An excellent “automatic heating” function, it really saves time, the surface itself sets the maximum heating level for a specific burner, and when the water boils, it automatically switches the heating temperature to the pre-selected number.
I am absolutely delighted with the “countdown timer” function. The timer can be set simultaneously for all four burners. After selecting the desired burner, I set the minutes and select the desired power. After the set time has elapsed and a beep sounds, the hotplate automatically switches off. That is, knowing the exact proportions, you can prepare a simple dish without standing next to the stove. For example, in the morning I leave the Turk with coffee for two cups for 6 minutes at around 14, and I can get ready without worrying that the coffee will run away or boil over. Or I set it to 25 minutes at 10 and cook buckwheat porridge while walking outside with my child. There is also a countdown from the start of cooking. This timer is designed to control the operating time of the burner, but I personally have never used it.

The function of automatically turning off the hob if liquid is spilled on it or if anything is on the panel for more than 10 seconds (a pan or an oven mitt) is quite convenient. A warning beep will sound for a few seconds before the hob switches off, so you have time to remove the item if it gets there accidentally.
I constantly use the “lock” function. This function allows you to lock the control panel, which prevents accidental switching off or changing the heating power. When you finish work and turn off the hob, this function turns off automatically.
I have never used the STOP+GO function. I don't quite understand what case it is intended for. When this function is activated, all operating hotplates go to minimum. In this case, the heating power can no longer be changed, but the “Timer” function remains active. When the STOP+GO function is switched off, the previously operating hotplates automatically return to pre-heating power. What this gives is not clear to me, since the residual heat at the burners is quite strong, and the dish can “finish” even when the stove is turned off.
But the “Child Lock” function was simply necessary for me. This function prevents accidental activation and use of the hob, and in a house where there are two inquisitive kids, many accidents happen. When this function is canceled for one cooking cycle and after the stove is turned off, the “protection” will turn on again. Very comfortably!
Manufacturers recommend cleaning the hob after each cooking, but I can’t do that. Therefore, small dark spots and scratches appeared on the glass ceramics, but they do not affect the quality of the surface.
