Andrey Malakhov was born on January 11, 1972 in the city of Apatity, Murmansk region. He graduated from high school with a silver medal, went to Moscow and entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Malakhov also received a musical education in violin, although, by his own admission, he did not like studying at a music school at all.
While studying at Moscow State University, Andrei went on an internship to the USA. He was supposed to study journalism for a year at the University of Michigan. Students from Russia at that time were entitled to a scholarship of $200 per month. Of course, you can’t rent a house in the USA with that kind of money, and it’s difficult to get by. Malakhov had to look for part-time work.
Andrei was sent to local television in Detroit, which was one of the divisions of the famous company Paramount Pictures. This work allowed him to remove separate apartment and feel more confident. From now on, Malakhov was not a poor student, but a completely successful foreigner.
Upon returning to Moscow, Malakhov found part-time work in Ostankino. He translated CNN news into Russian. Andrey still remembers that it was extremely difficult for him to combine work and study at Moscow State University.
Andrei Malakhov graduated from Moscow State University in 1995 with honors and began working as the editor of international information for the Morning program, as well as the author and presenter of the Style column.
After that, he was a correspondent for the Directorate of Information Programs of Channel One. Since 1996, Malakhov has become the host of the Good Morning program.
In 1998, Andrei Malakhov decides to get a second higher education. He enters the Faculty of Law of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
2001 was a real breakthrough in professional career Andrey Malakhov. The “Big Wash” program began airing on Channel One, which instantly made him a real television star.
After some time, several more Malakhov programs were released: “Five Evenings”, “Golden Gramophone” and “Let Them Talk”. The show program “Let Them Talk” is still airing.

Personal life of Andrei Malakhov
Andrei Malakhov prefers not to give interviews about his personal life. It is known that for several years Malakhov’s common-law wife was Marina Kuzmina, who was eight years older than him. Their relationship was very uneven. Passion and insane jealousy soon destroyed this couple.
Many novels were attributed to Malakhov. He remained a bachelor for a long time, but in June 2011 he still married blonde Natalya Shkuleva. The wedding ceremony took place at the Palace of Versailles in Paris.
