The module is connected to the common distribution pipeline of the heating system (riser), the input location is left (L) or right (R). Horizontal apartment single-pipe and two-pipe systems heating. The diameter of the connection to the risers of heating systems is ¾ or 1”.

The collector module MKT SOTIS-Unit is designed to connect consumers to the UUTEM-E metering unit on the floor, control the distribution of coolant between consumers and organize individual metering of heat energy consumption. Depending on the modification, the module can also perform the functions of conditional regulation (limitation) of coolant flow in apartment heating circuits or precise hydraulic balancing of apartment heating circuits.

The collector module is supplied assembled as part of the UUTEM-E metering unit, or as a kit for assembly directly on site. The assembly of the collector module and its installation on the pipeline must be carried out by specialists with the necessary qualifications, in accordance with the drawing given in the Technical Description.

The collector module can be installed on the pipeline in any of two mounting positions: horizontal or vertical.

At horizontal installation collector module, used in most cases, heat meters (heat meters) are located vertically. If heat meters provide the required level of measurement accuracy only when operating in a horizontal position, the collector module must be installed vertically on the pipeline.

The collector module is installed on the pipeline by connecting it to the input module using connecting elements, such as nipples, fittings, connectors with an American union nut, etc. The connections of the collector module with the input module and pipelines of apartment heating circuits are threaded. To seal these connections, use sanitary linen with sealing paste or special plumbing thread. Installation must be carried out using open-end or adjustable wrenches.

When installing powerful and extensive heating systems that are designed in residential buildings large area, use distribution manifolds equipped thermohydraulic distributor or hydraulic arrow.

When installing a connecting link, on one side the heating boiler circuit is connected to it, and on the other - radiator heating or "warm floors".

The use of this module provides independent hydraulic adjustment of each apartment on the floor, and individual heat metering. To connect several apartments to the central heating riser, a collector module with a decentralized (separated) hydraulic adjustment and metering system is used.

Each collector outlet is designed to distribute coolant into separate apartment. Installed on each branch shut-off valves, balancing valves and metering devices.

Module manifolds for multi-apartment system have large diameter(1"1/2 and 2" *) and increased center-to-center distance of the outlets (100 mm). For connecting, disconnecting the module and cleaning the coolant, Ball Valves and a mesh filter. A shut-off valve is installed on the manifold ball valve and in addition, there are manual balancing valves on the supply manifold to regulate the coolant flow.

Automatic differential pressure regulators installed on the return manifold outlets work in conjunction with manual ones balancing valves and serve to hydraulically stabilize the system. The module can be equipped with heat metering devices (heat meters), complete with ball valves, or spaces can be provided for subsequent installation of heat meters. Shut-off ball valves with a fitting for temperature sensor. End groups with automatic or manual (on request) air vents and drain ball valves are installed on the supply and return manifolds.

To connect all the components together, threaded nipples and fittings (adapters) are used.

Pipes for connecting heating devices can be different - copper, polymer or multilayer (metal-polymer). For various pipes Appropriate adapters and adapters are used. By agreement with the customer, modules can be equipped with adapters and adapters in production.

Installation of collector modules on site is carried out on brackets on the wall or on a special bus. The modules must be placed in special niches or provided Technical buildings. An important condition is the possibility of access to the collector modules only for service personnel.
